Design Details

The Neckline: A sharp, tailored Shirt Collar crafted from Maroon Gabardine 81, extending into a clean vertical panel that runs the full length of the garment for an elongating effect.

The Sleeves: Designed with a dramatic, flowy cut in Royal Mikado that transitions into structured Gabardine Cuffs. Each cuff is adorned with dual oversized gold crescent buttons, creating a "Moon" motif that adds a celestial, Ramadan-inspired spirit to the craftsmanship.

The Silhouette: An ultra-voluminous Flared Cut that flows from the shoulders to a wide, floor-sweeping hem, giving the Kaftan the majestic presence of a ceremonial gown.

Care: Honoring the Sanctuary

This Kaftan is a ceremonial masterpiece. To preserve the "Glow" of the Mikado and the "Frame" of the Gabardine, we recommend following these guidelines:

- The Professional Path: Dry clean only. Because of the complex fusion of Mikado and Gabardine, water-based washing will damage the Mikado’s unique stiffness and may cause the two fabrics to react differently, ruining the silhouette.

- The Lustre Guard: Mikado is sensitive to direct heat. Never iron the Mikado surface directly. If needed, use a handheld steamer from a distance, or iron on the reverse side using the lowest heat setting and a pressing cloth.

- Cuff & Collar Care: The Maroon Gabardine accents (collar and cuffs) should be kept crisp. Avoid applying perfume or chemicals directly on the gold crescent buttons to prevent tarnishing.

- Storage: Hang your Kaftan on a wide, padded hanger to support the weight of the Royal Mikado and prevent any creasing in the voluminous flared cut.

- The Golden Rule: Store in a breathable garment bag, away from direct sunlight, to protect the delicate Dusty Cashmere and Deep Maroon hues from fading.

- Hardware Care: To maintain the brilliant "Moon" lustre of the gold crescent buttons, avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairsprays, or harsh detergents.
